PLN 16
Apparently, gays can be discharged from the army. Now, I thought we were at a point where everyone was equal, gays, blacks, women, for better or for worse. So this makes me question: Are we REALLY all equal? Just because someone is gay, doesn't mean they should be treated differently from the next man in the army. If you look at gay rights activists and what they say, they all want gays to have equal treatment. Unfortunately they don't, and get get out of service for it. I think gay people should be torn on this. On one end, they get out of the army and out of possible over seas service which everyone would love to avoid. On the other hand, they truly aren't being treated equally. If you are not gay, then pretend you are for a minute. What is more important: equality or the fact that you don't have to risk your life if you don't want to?
